Lucas Perez has secured a loan move back to his former club Deportivo after a disastrous first season with Arsenal.
The Spaniard was barely given an opportunity under Arsene Wenger during the 2016/17 campaign and he had outlined his plans to leave the Emirates.
Despite his limited appearances, Perez did enjoy a one-in-three strike rate as he scored seven goals in his 21 appearances for the Gunners.
His finest moment in an Arsenal shirt came when he scored a hat-trick against Basel in the Champions League but it was a rare moment of joy in north London.

Having banged in the goals in his final season with Deportivo, which convinced Arsenal to spend £17million on him, Perez will now hope to hit the ground running on his return to La Liga.
It seems unlikely that the 28-year-old will return to Arsenal, although no permanent exit package has been agreed.
