Schalke midfielder and rumoured Arsenal transfer target Leon Goretzka has moved to play down reports of him moving to the Gunners or any other club this summer.
The Germany international is currently on Confederations Cup duty with his national side, and insists his sole focus is on making progress in the tournament.
Goretzka is out of contract with Schalke next season and has been linked with a £21million departure this summer as his club possibly look to cash in on him while they can.
Tottenham and Juventus have also been mentioned as possible suitors for the talented 22-year-old, but he insists there is nothing to talk about on that front at the moment.
‘I do not want to say anything about the transfer rumours, I’m focusing on the Confederations Cup,’ Goretzka said.
‘I’m not going to give state-of-play updates, but if there are facts, I will announce them.
‘I’m not the type to be impressed by newspaper reports, I know what my qualities are, but I will not build myself up.’

Germany manager Joachim Low has also been quoted talking about Goretzka’s future, and admitted he appears to be planning for the next step in his career.
‘It seems to be clear he is carefully planning his next steps and we are trying to ignore the whole issue surrounding his club career,’ Low said.
‘He is intelligent enough to come up with the right decision for his career.’
