Lyon striker and rumoured Arsenal transfer target Alexandre Lacazette has admitted he’d like a move to Atletico Madrid this summer.
The France international has enjoyed a prolific season in Ligue 1 again this year, and has been linked with a number of top clubs around Europe ahead of the upcoming transfer window.
Lacazette was the subject of a failed bid by Arsenal last summer, and according to the Daily Mail remains on the Gunners’ radar this year though they look likely to miss out once again.
When discussing the prospect of a move to Atletico, the 25-year-old spoke positively of the club and also suggested he’d be keen to play with their star forward Antoine Griezmann.
When asked about Atletico, he said: ‘Yes, I like them. They’ve got great players, a great manager, a good fanbase and Antoine is there.
‘We’ll see what happens at the end of the season and I’ll think about it then.
