The agent of RB Leipzig winger Emil Forsberg has slammed the club for ‘destroying’ his dreams this summer as he attracts rumours of transfer interest from the likes of Arsenal.
The Sweden international enjoyed a highly productive season in 2016/17 to top the Bundesliga assist charts with 19 in total, as well as eight goals from out wide.
This has seen the Gunners linked with a £30million move for Forsberg, but Leipzig sporting director Ralf Rangnick recently insisted that their star players were not for sale.
It remains to be seen if this will be enough to keep all parties happy, however, with his agent Hasan Cetinkaya hitting out at the club for forcing him to stay after his great service to them.
‘I and Emil have always accepted the club and the contracts with them,’ he said.
