Barcelona remain keen to sign Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin this summer but the club are put off by his £34million asking price, according to latest reports.

The 22-year-old is a vital member of this Arsenal squad and recently signed a new long-term contract to reflect his growing importance and seniority in this side.

Having started his career in Barca’s youth team, it is little surprise to see him linked several times with a return to the Nou Camp, though he has insisted he remains loyal to Arsenal.

This hasn’t stopped the Catalan giants tracking him, however, with a new right-back firmly on their agenda ahead of this summer’s transfer window.

Sergi Roberto has largely filled that role this season due to the unconvincing form of Aleix Vidal, but the club are looking at the likes of Djibril Sidibe and Joao Cancelo as options in addition to Bellerin.

Marca claim, however, that Bellerin is looking unrealistic to Barcelona at the moment as Arsenal refuse to budge on their £34million valuation of the Spaniard.
