Arsene Wenger is confident teenage sensation Reiss Nelson has the talent required to replace new Liverpool signing Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain at Arsenal.
Nelson shot to prominence during club’s pre-season tours of Australia and China, while he also starred in the Emirates Cup victory over Benfica.
The 17-year-old has continued that fine form for Arsenal’s Under-23s, scoring five goals in three games and landing the PL2 Player of the Month Awarrd for August.
Wenger claimed on Thursday that the England youth international had been presented with an opportunity following Oxlade-Chamberlain’s departure and he expects him to grab it with both hands.
