Arsenal Wenger has given Arsenal fans just a tiny taste of what they can expect from the summer transfer window, by confirming the one position in his squad he will not seek to improve.
The Gunners overcame Sunderland in an easy 2-0 win on Tuesday night, with a brace from Alexis Sanchez keeping their slim top-four hopes alive.
For a while, it looked like Arsenal would not get the breakthrough they needed as Black Cats goalkeeper Jordan Pickford produced a string of fine saves.

The England shot-stopper is likely to leave the Stadium of Light this season, though Wenger ruled out a move for the youngster despite his impressive performance.
‘We have plenty of goalkeepers,’ said the French boss. ‘We have Petr Cech, [David] Ospina, [Wojciech] Szczesny and [Emiliano] Martinez. If there’s anyone we don’t want to buy it’s another goalkeeper.’
The inclusion of Szczesny in his list of keepers suggests Wenger still sees a future for the Polish shot-stopper at the club.
Szczesny has spent the last two seasons on loan at Roma where he has been virtually ever-present, helping the Rome-based club to second place in the table and conceding just 33 goals in 36 games.
