Long-term Manchester United target Saul Niguez was the star of the show as Spain reached the European Under-21 Championship final with a 3-1 victory over Italy on Tuesday night.
The 22-year-old Atletico Madrid midfielder, who has long been linked with a move to Old Trafford, scored a brilliant semi-final hat-trick to set up a much-anticipated showdown with Germany in Krakow.
David De Gea showed his love for Saul on Twitter and United supporters immediately began begging Jose Mourinho to bid for the youngster who has a £71m buy-out clause in his contract with Atleti.
However, following the semi-final win, Saul told Spanish outlet AS: ‘I have no intention of moving.

‘They [Atletico] have put their trust in me since I was young and I want to repay that confidence.’
