Tonight’s match has already garnered headlines, but not for the right reasons.

Linfield FC have told fans not to take bottles or other projectiles to the game after fans pelted players during the previous fixture between the two teams at Windsor Park.

A statement from the club urged fans to ‘do nothing to harm or damage the name of the club you are supporting’.

Things turned particularly ugly in the last week’s game when Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths stepped up to take a corner and had missiles thrown at him from the stands.
