Manchester United have handed a trial to Brazilian wonderkid Gabriel Martinelli.
The promising 16-year-old attacker, who is currently with Brazilian outfit Ituano, is understood to have trained with the Red Devils previously and has been given another opportunity to impress.
Martinelli travelled with United’s Under-17 squad to take on Lincoln in a friendly at Sincil Bank on Wednesday night following his arrival in England.
The highly-rated teenager was seen warming up before kick-off and came on in the second-half, replacing Nishan Burkart, to help the U17s to a 2-0 victory in the clash.
Martinelli was also spotted making his way off the coach (54s) with his new team-mates for the evening in the lead-up to the game.
