John Terry has spent his career winning trophies and just because he’s left Chelsea doesn’t mean he’s stopping.
The centre-back, who joined Aston Villa earlier this summer, lifted everything during his time at Stamford Bridge.
Among is haul are five Premier League trophies, five FA Cups, three League Cups, the Europa League and the Champions League.
And now he can add the Cup of Traditions to the collection.
Never heard of it? Neither had we and neither, probably, had JT.
But the mini-competition held today at the Schauinsland Reisen Arena in Duisburg saw Aston Villa come out on top.
The format saw Steve Bruce’s side beat Bundesliga 2 side MSV Duisburg over a 45 minute match.
Having won that game 3-0 they progressed to the final where they met Hertha Berlin. Also a 45 minute match, Villa won 2-0 and won the tournament.
Afterwards they were presented with the trophy and Terry looked delighted to have got his hands on it.
While it won’t be the most prestigious of trophies won by the former England captain, it probably will be the strangest looking; The design features a footballer climbing out from inside a football.
