Jose Mourinho has confirmed that he will rest players for Sunday ’s Premier League fixture against Arsenal depending on his side’s result against Celta Vigo on Thursday.
Manchester United are in Spain for the first leg of their semi-final clash against the La Liga side and still have two routes to reach next season’s Champions League.
Mourinho’s men will then travel to face Arsenal on Sunday afternoon with both sides requiring a win to remain in with a realistic chance of securing a top-four finish.
But with his squad hit by multiple injuries, Mourinho insists he will be prepared to rotate his side in order to boost the chances of progressing in the Europa League next week.

‘Thinking about us, as a team, it would be a good achievement [to win the Europa League] with so many problems we’ve had, and it would allows us to be back in the Champions League next season, we have to try and that’s what we going to do,’ said the United manager.
‘The Europa League for us now becomes more important. Of course, it depends on the result, depends on the way we analyse the situation after the match
‘But if we have to rest players next weekend, we’re going to do that.’
