The skipper has been sidelined for three months due to an ongoing foot injury that has plagued him for the last two campaigns.
Henderson has not played since a February victory over Tottenham, but was in attendance for Liverpool’s season awards on Tuesday night.
The midfielder plays a vital role in Klopp’s side as the leader and workhorse, but the Liverpool boss is not sure if Henderson will feature before the end of the season.
‘It is too early to say,’ Klopp said at the awards.

‘Next season is the latest moment, of course, but anything can happen.
‘We stay positive because he is strong.
‘The moment someone gives him the green light he will be back in a second because of his attitude and character.
‘I am not thinking about the start of pre-season, but that would be the latest moment he is back.
‘We have not made a final judgment for this season.
‘We don’t know if he will back tomorrow in training or next week but because it is Jordan and he has a really high fitness level, even if it is just swimming, we know we can think about him immediately when he is ready.’
Liverpool have just two more games to play this season with an away trip to West Ham on Sunday next up for the Reds.

The Reds can secure a Champions League spot on Sunday should they beat West Ham and other results go in their favour.
But, Manchester United and Arsenal can still pip them to the last spot.
