It’s understood Chelsea were on the brink of signing Koulibaly in the summer of 2016, before David Luiz agreed to move to Stamford Bridge, and Antonio Conte remains interested in the Senegal centre-back.
Bruno Satin, Koulibaly’s representative, confirmed ‘offers’ but insisted the defender is a Napoli player until they decided otherwise.
‘Important players can receive offers, but at the moment he’s a Napoli player and they can also reject them,’ Bruno Satin said on Radio CRC.
