The Gunners got back to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Manchester United at the weekend, but Koscielny and Xhaka did not come through the game unscathed.
Wenger’s side urgently need to win their final four Premier League matches to have any chance of finishing in the top four and qualifying for the Champions League, and won’t want any key figures missing.
Koscielny has been one of Arsenal’s most consistent performers this term, while Xhaka looked improved as he scored the opener against United on Sunday.

Speaking ahead of the trip to St Mary’s, Wenger said: ‘We have some worries for Koscielny, he’ll have a test today and we will make a decision after training today.
‘Granit Xhaka looks similar but he looks to have recovered well. News for him is better but he will have a test today.’
