Liverpool have announced their Champions League play-off squad ahead of their qualifier against Hoffenheim on Tuesday.

Arsene Wenger admits he expects Alexis Sanchez will leave Arsenal

Jurgen Klopp named the usual suspects in his squad with Philippe Coutinho, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane all included.

Summer recruit Mohamed Salah is also involved, but there is no place for Danny Ings, Mamadou Sakho or Lazar Markovic.

Sakho has been banished from Klopp’s first-team and spent the second half of the season on loan at Crystal Palace after a stint in the Reds’ reserves.

Palace have refused to meet Liverpool’s asking price for Sakho and it looks like the centre-back must find another club to continue his career at.

Klopp and Sakho fell out a year ago and their relationship has never recovered.

Winger Markovic is also set for a summer exit after failing to convince Klopp he has what it takes to succeed at Liverpool.
