Napoli forward Lorenzo Insigne would fit in at a big club like Manchester United, Barcelona or Real Madrid, believes super-agent Mino Raiola.

Insigne, who is in his sixth term at the Stadio San Paolo, is regarded as one of the top attackers in Serie A and the 26-year-old’s performances in Italy have seen him linked with the likes of Liverpool and Barcelona in recent seasons.

Raiola has been criticised by Napoli’s president Aurelio De Laurentiis for insisting that Insigne and coach Maurizio Sarri belong at a higher level but the agent stands by his opinion.

Despite not representing Insigne, Raiola told La Domenica Sportiva: ‘Napoli play football appreciated all over the world, that is obvious and everywhere I go, colleagues ask me about them.

‘De Laurentiis should be happy that Sarri is appreciated.

‘Insigne has a contract. We seem to want players to become slaves of either clubs or agents.
