Manchester United are reportedly set to seal the return of Burnley defender Michael Keane in this summer’s transfer window on a cut-price deal.
The England international has been strongly linked with a host of top clubs in recent times, with his fine form in the Premier League this season also said to have caught the eye of Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool.
However, United look set to use their good relationship with Burnley to beat their rivals to Keane’s signature as Jose Mourinho eyes improvements in defence for next season.
Burnley value Keane at around £20million, but due to United’s inclusion of a sell-on clause in his contract, could land him for just £15million, according to the Daily Express.
The 24-year-old left United for Burnley just two years ago after initially failing to impress upon making the step up from the Red Devils’ youth team to senior side.

However, Keane is now regarded as one of the best up-and-coming talents in England after some rock-solid displays at the back throughout this season.
Reports elsewhere have claimed Keane is desperate to rejoin his old club after finally showing his true potential at Turf Moor.
