Paris Saint-Germain have raised their bid for Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez by submitting a fresh offer of £44million for the Chilean.
The French giants had a bid of around £35m rejected for the winger last week and Arsene Wenger insisted Sanchez will not be sold.
The 28-year-old has remained relatively silent on his future at the Emirates but he is believed to be privately keen to leave the club to play in the Champions League.
Manchester City remain an option for Sanchez but PSG are optimistic over a deal and have submitted a new £44m offer, according to France Football.
Wenger maintains Sanchez will not be sold to a team at home or abroad but the winger’s future could depend on his decision to apply pressure on the Gunners or not.
Sanchez revealed that he had made a decision over his future and that it was ‘now up to Arsenal’, in the biggest indiciation yet that he wants to leave.

However, Wenger claimed Sanchez’s comments were lost in translation and says he’s planning for next season with the Chile international.
The Gunners have added Sead Kolasinac and Alexandre Lacazette so far this summer and are hopeful of signing Monaco ace Thomas Lemar.
