It’s been a frustrating season overall for Ronaldo, who has failed to hit his usual heights so far, though he’s not the only one feeling the heat.

Arch-nemesis Lionel Messi also reacted badly to an unwanted result this week, as he allegedly went after an unnamed Manchester City player in the tunnel after Barcelona’s 3-1 defeat at the Etihad Stadium.

And that incident follows a recent foul-mouthed outburst by the Argentine attacker after being pelted with bottles from Valencia fans after Barca’s late win at the Mestalla.
